My wife and I had been doing our bookkeeping manually for many years. With the introduction of GST in 2000, we moved to using MYOB. Deb Hawke came along initially to train my wife in data entry and GST but it very soon became clear that it was easier for us to hire Deb to do the work for us. This enabled my wife to step out of the business and do the things she enjoys. Deb now comes in once a week and keeps me under control. She checks my sales invoicing (which is the only thing I do myself), manages the creditors payments, reconciles the bank accounts, does the BAS and liaises with my accountant. Everything is done and kept up to date with a minimum of fuss - I couldn't run my business without her now.

Deb Hawke of Hawke's Business Services joined our team in October 2000 when our business was small and my partner and I did most of the data entry ourselves. Over the years our business has grown dramatically and we now have 3 office girls who handle the sales invoicing. Deb comes in once a week and keeps the rest of our bookkeeping up to date. She processes our payroll weekly and is always on top the Superannuation and Workcover requirements. Deb also enters all supplier invoices and manages the payments to suppliers monthly. Our bank accounts are reconciled weekly, our BAS is done monthly and our accountant is kept informed of any accounting issues that may require their attention. In 2006 we opened a 2nd company and Deb now manages to keep that up to date every week as well. Her skills are exceptional and I rely on her knowledge, professionalism and honesty in assisting me to make decisions on the future of our business. I value her assistance and dedication and could not have made it through tough times without her.
